This Try Hockey for Free event is designed to provide kids ages 4 to 9 the opportunity to try hockey in a FUN, safe environment with trained coaching staff.

No experience necessary! There will be plenty of assistance on hand to be sure your child has the best first hockey experience and answer any questions you might have.

This 4-week (30 min/week) program is FREE and includes the gear.  Following the program, participants may keep the gear if they enroll into the following Learn To Play Hockey program.

Participant will need to come to an equipment fitting prior to the program to receive the gear.

The Jr. Jaguars Recreational League is a Limited Travel League where kids are placed on a team and compete in practices and games.  One weekly session for skill development and one weekly session for full-ice games.

A coed, recreational, and non-checking league open to men and women ages 18 and over of all skill levels. ​Each season consists of 12 regular season games and guaranteed playoff game. All games have two referees and a scorekeeper. Join Today and enjoy some competition, action, exercise, and comradery! Join as an individual and be placed on a draft list or join as an entire team.

The Flyers Rookie Program is a six-week learn-to-play initiative for first-time youth hockey players that features FREE head-to-toe equipment for participants. Part of a National Hockey League-wide initiative in partnership with the National Hockey League Players’ Association, the Flyers Rookie Program aims to teach first-time players the basic skills of hockey while focusing on important “off-ice” skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and respect.

Open to 8U players. One weekly session for skill development and one weekly session for cross-ice games.  The Jr. Jags Mite Program is designed for a player with prior hockey experience (completion of Rookie 1 & 2).

Open Hockey, also commonly known as “drop-in” or “pick-up” hockey is open ice time for scrimmage play. Be sure to bring a light and a dark jersey. Players will break into teams and scrimmage. Space is limited for all sessions and pre-booking online is recommended. Full gear is required.

GET IN THE GAME!

The largest co-ed adult learn to play hockey program in the U.S.A. This program is open to adults 18+ who have never played hockey. It will combine on-ice skills sessions with instructional games. During this program, participants will learn the fundamental skills of ice hockey, including how to skate if they’ve never done so before. In addition, they will get a chance to play the greatest game on Earth.

The Little Jaguars Rookie Program offers FREE GEAR for first time players included with registration. Players should complete Pre-Hockey 1 & 2 in the Learn to Skate program before signing up,  or receive instructor permission. The Rookie Program introduces players to shooting, passing, stickhandling and other fundamental skills. Full hockey equipment is required.
